DENTAXON AXO ACTIVE RCS BIOCERAMIC SEALER

AXO ACTIVE RCS is a pre-mixed, paste-like bioceramic sealer. While the exact percentage composition is proprietary, it is based on an innovative mineral micro-aggregate chemistry. The primary components include:

• Calcium Silicates: These compounds are the key to the material's bioactivity, promoting the formation of hydroxyapatite, the natural mineral component of teeth. This process aids in the mineralization of the dentinal structure and creates a strong bond between the sealer and the tooth,

• Calcium Aluminate: This component contributes to the material's hydraulic setting reaction and overall strength.

• Calcium Hydroxide: Known for its high alkalinity (high pH), calcium hydroxide provides a significant antibacterial effect within the root canal system, helping to eliminate residual bacteria and prevent reinfection.

• Zirconium Oxide: This element is added to make the sealer radiopaque, allowing it to be clearly visible on dental X-rays for verification of a complete and dense root canal filling.

• Dispersing Agent: This ensures the paste has a smooth and flowable consistency, facilitating its application and penetration into the intricate network of root canals.
