DENTAXON AXO PIT AND FISSURE SEALANT is a light-cured, resin-based material specifically designed for the preventive sealing of pits and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth. It acts as a protective physical barrier, preventing food particles and bacteria from becoming trapped in the deep grooves of molars and premolars, which are the most common sites for initial tooth decay

• Low Viscosity: Flows easily for deep penetration into fissures.
• Light-Cured: Hardens in seconds with a curing light (like AXO CURE ), providing a command set.
• Fluoride Release: Often contains fluoride for additional chemical protection against decay.
• Strong Bond: Achieves a durable micro-mechanical bond to the tooth after the surface has been prepared with an etchant (like AXO ETCH ).
